This year I am a bit behind with decorating but I am so nearly there! However, I am fairly on time for Black Friday to give you my 10 Christmas Gift Ideas 2025 in case some of these on the list take your fancy.
You may notice that 10 is a very short list for me. That is because I have written extensively long Christmas Gift Ideas over the past few years and many of them are still relevant. And so I will point you to those posts instead.

So without further ado, here’s my 10 Christmas Gift Ideas 2025. Remember that I only recommend those that I have had personal experiences with!

Suri 2.0 is the latest upgrade although you can still get Suri 1.0. Both are amazing. Suri 2.0 has a better charger base and a rechargeable case. The Suri 2.0 toothbrush in itself has a better motor inside but the outside is still exactly the same look and design as Suri 1.0. They also have a great sale on at the moment of up to 30% off. 2. HexClad
If like me your kitchen is the hardest-working area of the home and cooking is a daily necessity, then having knives that really work and pots and pans that make daily chores a pleasure are a must.
HexClad pans are non-stick which means effortless cleaning and free from forever chemicals. They are built-to-last with heavy gauge construction materials and are metal utensil safe that they are almost indestructible. These have been the best pans I’ve had in my entire life. And you also get the best sear with them! But I haven’t finished! The best bit? The handles stay cool! And they go in the oven too! What’s not to love? I highly recommend the hybrid set. 3. Simple Human
I have only come across the brand Simple Human recently and they don’t have many products. But what they do have are mind-blowing!
First, sensor products that work so well and look so good. The sensor bin is touch-free making repetitive tasks so simple, mess-free and easy. And you can even speak to it! Say “open can” “stay open” and “close can” and it obeys! Before I had mine, I was using 2 bins under the sink and I had to open the drawer each time, then open their lids. I could not count the number of times I’ve had to do this throughout the day not to mention how wet and yucky the lids get especially if I were in the middle of washing-up and needed to chuck something whilst wearing wet gloves on. Not ideal.
The sensor pumps are equally as amazing – I have the dual which enables me to have washing-up liquid in one and handwashing liquid in the other. And there’s a little compartment for a lovely sponge. They make essential everyday tasks so effortless. And as always the best bit? They are rechargeable and keep their charge for months!!! Simple Human have really thought of everything as regards form and function.
I also have the steel frame dish drainer which has a clever plate at the bottom that actually drains excess water. I have the compact one which sits perfectly on my sink drainer but is far better as it is designed to securely hold glasses, dishes, cutlery and even wine glasses without fear of breaking. 4. Smeg
If you have followed me for a while then you’d know that I am a huge fan of Smeg. My kitchen in my flat is kitted with Smeg and it is the most wonderful little pastel green retro kitchen space. This year I have fitted my tiny 2.5m x 2.5m kitchen in my home with pastel blue Smeg retro appliances and the most wonderful venting induction hob.
But for the purposes of this gift guide, I’d like to draw your attention to the Smeg Stand Mixer. I’ve had my eye on this for a long time and have dreamt of this as a perfect gift from my husband for years! Well I can report that I have been happily baking my favourite no-bake cheesecakes and banana oatcakes regularly with my new Smeg Stand Mixer. It brings a smile to my face when I use it and my family can tell you I did not use to be a happy baker! I dislike the mess and effort in cake-making but that has now all changed. Less effort + less mess suit me just fine!
5. Portmeirion Minerals
My family will tell you that we’ve gone through many many types of crockery including those ones that chip so easily you only have to lift them up and off goes the ceramic. We also have a set that don’t chip at all but are super thin and great for everyday but not so much for entertaining and special occasions – in my opinion anyway.
My Portmeirion Minerals set is perfect for both everyday and for entertaining and special occasions. They are just beautiful. I have them on my shelves and before you say having open shelving is a nightmare, not really as we use them daily so there’s hardly any time for them to accumulate dirt and dust. I have them in 4 colours and use them throughout the year spring, summer, autumn and winter. In fact, I’ve written about various ways to style the table with them here.
They are in the sale at the moment so now is a great time to start a collection or add to them. Natural and beautiful, this collection is a classic.
6. Beliani
I know some people who save up for a huge Christmas present for each other, I mean huge essentials like chairs, dining table and sofas. If that’s you, then you should look at Beliani for everything home related that you can think of! Free delivery, free returns. They do all the little things too from candles to table lights to Christmas decorations to home accessories. You name it they do it.

7. Rituals
My youngest daughter and I always stop by a Rituals shop to wash our hands and sample their creams and scrubs! It’s a ritual for us when we go shopping! There was one year when I bought each of my teens a Rituals set for Christmas. They are really just lovely presents that everyone would love. Their winter collection is stunning this year as is their Christmas / advent collection.
We set aside a family shopping weekend every year as part of our family tradition and no doubt we will be popping into Rituals for a browse and some indulgent handwashing and sampling!
8. Baylis and Harding
I hardly know anyone who has not heard of nor tried Baylis and Harding – a British brand known for everyday luxury hand washes and gift sets. This year they sent me their Fuzzy Duck winter Wonderland Advent Calendar and I cannot wait to open it.

9. STM Goods
I gave my husband a little STM stashbag to house his wires and cables and he’s been so delighted with it! Anything that helps tidy up mess and wires is a win for me too! I’m currently looking at their Dux backpacks as they will really suit us down to a T – great bags for gadgets (for laptop and camera) especially when we travel to and from the flat with our gear which need to be securely padded. I love how rugged it looks – like a fortress for my gear and that can only be a good thing!
I will update this when I get to try the Dux for real and include a mini review.
10. Balsam Hill
You might wonder why I have included Balsam Hill on this year’s Christmas presents. I try to get a Christmas decoration each year for my kids as part of our tradition as I’m sure many other people do. I guess it’s part of our story as a family especially as the kids grow and we look back over past Christmases. Have a look at the green and red (mushrooms) Woodland Bauble Collection – they look stunning. Their wooden Christmas villages are worth checking out too!
This year my garlands and Christmas tree are from Balsam Hill. They are renown for the most realistic Christmas trees and I cannot wait to show you mine! I’ve gone for the Nordmann Fir tree. I’ve gone for a nostalgic theme this year wspecially with my vintage bauble collection. The Nordmann tree is perfect!

A FRIENDLY BUT IMPORTANT REMINDER
All these Christmas lights and decorations require extra power sources / sockets so I would just like to remind us all about fire safety this Christmas season. Electrics, fuel, carbon monoxide safety are paramount and we cannot afford to overlook it.
FireAngel
I have only just realised that my front room does not have a smoke alarm (the current smoke alarm is in the adjoining dining room next to it so it still covers the area). But just to be sure and safe, I have installed Fire Angel’s Ultra Slim Smoke Alarm. It’s tiny and has a 10 year battery life. It also has an advanced optical sensor engineered to spot slow-burning fires.
I have paired it with the Ultra Slim Carbon Monoxide Alarm which is equally as tiny. Super discreet and super safe – just what I need in my front room with the wood burning stove. If you have an appliance that burns fuel anywhere in the home, make sure you have a carbon monoxide alarm. CO is a silent killer and we want to be on the safe side always. I have them in most rooms near any fuel burner as CO can travel through walls and is odourless. It’s better to be safe than sorry. Now roll on Christmas!
